Anti-theft railcars

At present METRANS operates 600 of own special "anti-theft" railcars, further 200, the same waggons are just under production with the delivery to METRANS since autumn 2007 till spring 2008.

600 of own 4-TEUs railcars means daily 2400 TEUs of own rail transport capacity, besides DB and CD railcars.

These "anti-theft" railcars has special protection that door is impossible to open during rail transport ……..

… and special guiding laths, which speeds up container loading at port or hinterland terminals.

Having licence for railcar repairs, METRANS arranges necessary maintenance, periodical inspection and repairs of these railcars by its own well-trained staff, in order to keep them in safe conditions and permanent utilization.
